Super Monte Cristo Breakfast Sandwich submitted by
KingDaddy
Fry up a pack of bacon (or sliced ham)
Mix 3 eggs, 1/3 cup milk, 3 Tablespoons sugar, splash of pure vanilla
extract, and a few dashes of cinnamon. Dip/soak 4 slices bread in mix and
slow fry in butter. On the last flip, add a slice of Swiss cheese to each
piece. Add the bacon (or ham) on half and cover with the other half.
Slice each sandwich in half and arrange on a plate with a few extra pieces
of bacon between. Add a generous dollop or three of black raspberry
preserves in the middle and top off with plenty of whipped cream.
Yum!! Serves 2-4
Mr. Whimsy's Macaroni Salad submitted by
Bits Of Whimsy
Ingredients:
1 quart Kraft Miracle Whip 1 pkg. frozen peas
Two 6 oz cans of tuna in water 1 medium sweet onion
16 oz box of seashell macaroni Greek seasoning
8 oz pkg. shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup red wine*
Cook the macaroni seashells and cool. Drain and shred the tuna. Cook the
peas about a minute less than the
package directions say to. Chop the onion very fine. In a large bowl put the
macaroni, shredded tuna, cheese, onions and peas.
Toss a little. Sprinkle a little bit of Greek seasoning on. You can use salt
and pepper if you don't have Greek seasoning.
Put half of the Miracle Whip in and mix together. Then add the other half
and mix. This tastes best if left in
refrigerator overnight. * Drink the wine while making the salad!

Blackberry Cobbler - submitted by
AnnRan
For a 9x13 pan (full recipe):
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup butter
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups sugar
2 cups milk
3 1/2 cups blackberries
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Once oven temp is reached, melt butter in the
9x13 pan
- In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, sugar & milk - batter will be
slightly lumpy. Pour mixture on top of the melted butter in baking pan, do
not mix butter and mixture together.
- Drop blackberries on top of batter - if more crust is desired, use fewer
blackberries.
- Bake for one hour or until golden brown.

To make a half recipe in an 8x8 or 9x9 pan, halve all the ingredients,
everything else is the same. We often use an 8x8 aluminum pan - easy to
transport to picnics, pot-lucks, etc.!
